Linda Faye Plitt, 85, of La Marque passed away on Wednesday, October 4, 2017.

She was born August 2, 1932 in Buffalo, Texas to Jessie and Francis Avara.

Linda was a resident of La Marque since 1952, formerly from Galveston. She was a member of Queen of Peace Catholic Church in La Marque.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 60 years, Edward “Ki Ki” Plitt.

Linda is survived by her daughter and son-in-law; Debbie and Gil Bills of La Marque, her two sons and daughters-in-law; Donald and Ruth Plitt of Bryan, and David and Cathy Plitt of Texas City, four grandchildren; Kimberly and Grady Mack, Jennifer and Mike Wade, Michael Plitt and Amanda, and Matthew Plitt and fiancé Abby Filce, her two great-grandchildren, Katie Mack and Abbie Mack, and her sister-in-law; Shirley Cucco.

Best friends for over 60 years Jackie and Foster Smith.

A special thanks to Delores, Maria, Johnnie, Lupe, Katy, Kim and Kodi.

A visitation will be on Sunday, October 8, 2017 from 6:00pm – 8:00pm with a vigil/rosary at 7:00pm at Queen of Peace Catholic Church in La Marque. Funeral Service will be at 9:00am on Monday, October 9, 2017 at Queen of Peace Catholic Church with Father Chacko Puthumayil officiating. Burial will follow at Galveston Memorial Park Cemetery in Hitchcock, Texas.
