HOLLADAY - Funeral services for Howard Ricks, 75, 2270 E. 4800 S., Holladay, who died Thursday in a Salt Lake City hospital of a heart ailment, will be held Monday at 11 a.m. in the Holladay Fourth Ward Chapel, 4917 Viewmont Drive.

Mr. Ricks was the brother of George Ricks of Lehi. He was born Jan. 20, 1896 in Paris, Idaho to Alexander and Alice Nutt Ricks. He married Tressa Hansen on Sept. 19, 1923 in the Manti Temple. He was a member of VFW No. Two.

Survivors include his widow; one daughter and three sons, Mrs. Ivan (Cleo) Boynton, Sandy; Lee Ricks, Salt Lake City; Ken Ricks, Huntington Beach, Calif.; Larry Ricks, El Segundo, Calif.; 14 grandchildren; four great-grandchilder; one sisters and six brothers, Allen and Gene Ricks, both Benson; Charles Ricks, Logan; Louis Ricks, Bountiful; George Ricks, Lehi; Ivan Ricks, Florida; Mrs. Ruth Siefert.

Friends may call at 4670 Highland Drive Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Monday one hour prior to services at the chapel. Burial will be in the Holladay Memorial Park.
