Olive V. West, 78, 1003 1st Ave. N., died Dec. 23, 1994 at Trinity Regional Hospital.
Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Bruce’s Funeral Home with the Rev. Ed Phillips, Pastor of Riverside United Methodist Church officiating. There will be no burial. Visitation will be after 10 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
Survivors include her husband, Averill “Bud”, daughters, Nancy Behrens, Killeen, Texas; Mary Ebberson, Davenport; Karen Genco, Clinton; and Wendy Shipley, Davenport; sons Wendall, Davenport; Dennis, San Bernardino, Calif.; and Ronald, Calif; 19 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and sisters, Iola Hughes, and Geneva Brown, both of Fort Dodge. She was preceded in death by her parents; sons, James “Jimmy” and Charles “Butch”, daughter Averilla West; brother, Ivan Campbell, sister Daisy Andrews.
Olive Campbell was born May 2, 1916 at Manson. She attended Fort Dodge schools. In 1933, she married Averill West at Fort Dodge. The couple made their home in Fort Dodge and have lived here ever since. She was a homemaker.
