Margaret L. Snyder,80,formerly of West Church St.,Lynn, died Sunday evening,Mar.14,1993, at Community Care Center in Winchester,after a lengthy illness.

She was born Mar.18,1912, the daughter of the late Ernest and Esta Betts Cook. She was a lifelong resident of Randolph Co.,She was a 1930 graduate of Winchester High School,a lifelong member of the Randolph County Historial Society and a member of the Randolph County and National Genealogy Society. She attended White River Friends and Peaceful Valley Friends Church.

She and her husband,Donald E. Snyder,Sr.,who died in June 1982, was active in farming.

Survivors include two daughters,E.Jean Cloyd of Hollansburg,Oh. and Josephine Ann Miller(husband:Dan)of Wakarusa;three sons,Donald E.(wife:Roberta)Snyder Jr. of Lynn, Thomas L.(wife:Judy)Snyder of Winchester and Fred L. (wife:Lola)Snyder of Springport;13 grandchildren;nine great-grandchildren;two brothers,John T. Cook(wife:Marge)and Jim (Cookie)Cook,both of Winchester and four sisters,Maxine Kidwell,Doris Fisher,Dorothy Simmons and Janette Ashley, all of Winchester.

She was preceded in death by one daughter,Pauline Snyder; one brother,Ernest L.Cook,Jr;and one granddaughter, Debbie Miller.

Funeral services were at Thomas Funeral Home in Lynn with the Rev. Marcel Thornburg officiating. Burial was in Fountain Park Cemetery in Winchester.
