Ethel McBee

Services will be held Friday for Mrs. Ethel Mae McBee, 80, of 423 1st St., Chester, who died Wednesday at 10:40 p.m. at home following a two - month illness. A lifelong resident, Mrs. McBee was born April 2, 1898, in Chester, of Alexander E. Allison and Alice Brooks Allison. Her husband, Samuel R. McBee, died Dec. 1, 1976. Survivors include her son-in-law, James R. Glover, with whom she resided; three grandsons and three great-granddaughters. Private rites will be conducted Friday at 10:30 a.m. at Locust Hill Cemetery by the Rev. Clark Allison of the Wellsville Church of the Nazarene. There will be no calling hours. The Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester is in charge of arrangements.
