R.B. Phillips, 85, of Abilene, passed away at home Tuesday, September 5, 2017, surrounded by his niece, Vickie Crews, and nephew, Terry Griffith. Funeral services will be at 2:00PM on Thursday, September 7, 2017, at Fountaingate Fellowship Church with burial following in Potosi cemetery. The family will receive friends for a visitation on Wednesday evening, September 6, from 5:00PM to 7:00PM at Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home, 542 Hickory St.
R.B. was a loving uncle that will be dearly missed and will always be in the hearts of his family.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Bessie Tyler; step-father, Travis Tyler; brothers, Raymond and James Tyler; sister, Nelle Jo Tyler; and a nephew, David Julian Woods.
