Mr. Chester H. Davis, 87, of Georgetown, Del., formerly of Penn Shoo Road, Mount Airy, died Thursday, Dec. 16, at Milford Memorial Hospital, Milford, Del.
He was the husband of the late Anna A. Davis.
Born Feb. 17, 1906, in Chesterfield, Va., he was a son of John and Annie Brown Davis.
Mr. Davis was a retired carpenter.
Surviving are one son, Louis E. Davis of Georgetown; two grandsons, Chester F. Davis and James D. Davis of Delaware; one granddaughter, Penny Davis of Delaware; one great-grandson, Reilly Louis Davis; one brother, Archie Davis of Rockville; and one sister, Maxine Schwartzback of Doreland, Ga.
Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 19, at the Olin L. Molesworth Funeral Home, 26401 Ridge Road, Damascus. Funeral services will begin at 1 p.m. Monday, Dec. 20, at the funeral home. Interment will be Monocacy Cemetery, Beallsville.
