Mrs. Annie Ruth Davis, widow of John J. Davis, who resided at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Ruff, of 8005 Oakleigh Road at Parkville, in Baltimore County, died there, Monday, following a lengthy illness.

Born in Frederick County, a daughter of the late Andrew Jackson and Sarah E. Peters Brown, she was 94 years of age.

Surviving, besides her daughter, Mrs. Ruth A. Ruff, with whom she lived, are the following children; John Gordon Davis, Tarpon Springs, Florida; Chester H. Davis, Mt. Airy; Mrs. Ellen Briggs, Glen Echo; Archer A. Davis, Rockville, Maxine Schwartzbeck, Rockville, and J. Wilson Davis, Clarksburg. 21 grandchildren, 50 great-grandchildren, and one great great-granddaughter, and several nieces and nephews also survive.

Mrs. Davis was a member of Koontz's Chapel United Methodist Church, at Park Mills.

Friends may call at the Robert E. Dailey & Son Funeral Home at 1201 North Market Street today from 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.

Funeral services will be conducted from the funeral home on Saturday at 2 p.m. by the Rev. Harrison H. Valentine, pastor of the Pentecostal Holiness Church of Baltimore.

Interment will be in Monocacy Cemetery at Beallsville, Maryland.
