Mrs. Mildred Lucille Davis, wife of Chester Davis, died at her home near Greenfield at 4:30 o'clock Thursday morning after an illness of two days. She was 26 years of age. She was a daughter of the late [Joseph] and Henrietta Glover Briggs, now living at Rockville.
Besides her husband, she is survived by two children, Louis Eldridge and Frances Lucille Davis; also by the following brothers; W. E. Briggs, Glen Echo; Everett Briggs, near Rockville; Owen Briggs, Washington, D.C.; Robert, Arthur, and Warren Briggs, of Silver Spring, and the following sisters: Mrs. Mary Buscher, Miss Edna Briggs, Mrs. Frances Stivers, Mrs. Clara Davis, all of Washington, D.C.; Etta and Georgia Briggs, of Silver Spring, and Mrs. Dorothy Benson, of Washington D. C. The deceased was a member of the Methodist Episcopal church.
The body is resting at the funeral home, 8 East Patrick Street. Arrangements for funeral have not been completed. C. E. Cline and Son, funeral directors.
