"MRS. JANE E. KELLOGG.

It is with deep regret that we announce the passing away of Mrs. Jane E. Kellogg, which occurred yesterday morning at 9 o'clock at her residence on High street. Mrs. Kellogg was in the 63d year of her age, a native of Natchez, and had been a helpless invalid for many years. She was a sister of the late Robert H. Stewart, and a granddaughter of Col. Andrew Marschalk, the pioneer editor of Mississippi. One brother, Mr. John Stewart, of Houston, Tex., is the sole survivor of a large family. The funeral conducted by Rev. Dr. J. J. Chisolm took place yesterday afternoon at 5 o'clock, and was largely attended. Six of the deceased's nephews acted as pallbearers."
