A. Warren Patenaude, 199 Main St,. West Chelmsford, died at this home Oct. 24. He was married to Mrs. Gloria (Gleason) Patenaude with whom he celebrated their 34th wedding anniversary May 22. He was born in Lowell March, 9 1925, the son of the late J. Arthur and Mildred (Roberts) Patenaude and was a graduate of Chelmsford High School, Class of 1943.

Mr. Patenaude served with the U.S. Army during World War II and was involved in the battles of New Guinea and Luzon. He was a self-employed painter an in the past had been employed by T.B.G. Construction of Chelmsford, Gro - Lex Co. of Groton and C.G. Sargent Co. of Graniteville. He was a member of the American Legion Post No. 159 in Westford.

He was the brother of the late Mrs. Arthur (Theresa) Smith of Lowell who died this spring.

Besides his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Mrs. J. David (Callie Sue) McMahon of Milford N.H. and Mrs. Thomas (Melody) Gonsalves of West Chelmsford; three sisters Mrs. Walter (Virginia) Jensen of Lowell; Mrs. James (Mary ) Urban of Dustable and Mrs. Robert (Aldea) Bourassa of North Chelmsford; two brothers, Robert Patenaude of Tyngsboro and Joseph Patenaude of Andover; six grandchildren, Thomas B. Jr, Tammy Beth and Timothy Gonsalves and David, Amy, and Rebecca McMahon.
