GARNER Alma L. Garner passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 22, 2007 at her daughter's home in Laplace, La. She was a member of Beacon Light F.G.B.C. of New Orleans, La. Wife of John L. Garner. Mother Alton and Reginald Washington of N.O., La., Desiree L. Simms of St. Louis, Mo., Sabrina C. Alexander of Laplace, La., John K. Garner of N.O. La., and Bernadette (Peaches) Cheneau of N.O., La. Sister of Louis Armstrong of San Francisco, Ca. and Roscoe Armstrong of Altadene, Ca. Also survived by 18 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastor, officers and member of Beacon Light F.G.B.C. and Greater St. Stephen F.G.B.C. are invited to attend the Visitation on Saturday, March 3, 2007 at Greater St. Stephen F.G.B.C., 2100 Ames Blvd-Marrero, La. from 9:00 am until 10:00 am.
