Audrey A. Meredith, a homemaker, died Wednesday at Pendleton Methodist Hospital. She was 81. Mrs. Meredith was born in Elizabeth and lived in New Orleans. She was a member of My Redeemer Baptist Church. Survivors include a son, Henry Meredith Jr.; four daughters, Freddie Mae Meredith, Deloris Weir, Betty Samuel and Ora Mae Thomas; three brothers, Donald Allen and Louis Armstrong of San Francisco, Calif., and Roscoe Allen of Altenda, Calif.; a sister, Alma Garner; 10 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. A funeral will be held Friday at 10 a.m. at My Redeemer Baptist Church, 2829 Washington Ave. in New Orleans. Visitation will begin at 8 a.m. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Park.
