"CENTRAL BRIDGE, May 5. --- Alfred Leamon, 81, died early Friday morning. He was born Nov. 6, 1859, the son of George and Nancy Posson Leamon, and had always lived in Schoharie county. Mr. Leamon was a farmer. He attended Bethany Lutheran church. The survivors are two sons, Ward of Charleston Four Corners and Fred of this place; two daughters, Mrs. Ina Dye of Schenectady, and Mrs. May Richtmyer of this village, nine grandchildren, Harold and Anna Mae Leamon of Charleston Four Corners, Earl Dye, Alfred and Stanley Leamon, and Kenneth Flint of Schenectady, Mrs. Lewis Brown and Miss Helen Leamon of Central Bridge, and Miss Beatrice Richtmyer of New York, and two great-grandchildren, Margaret Leamon and Beverly Ann Brown. Funeral services will be held at the home Monday, at 2 p.m., Rev. David C. Gaise, pastor of Bethany Lutheran church officiating. Burial will be in Sloansville."
