HAROLD PHILLIPS
CHARLESTON — Harold Phillips, 55, of Charleston died at 1:30 a.m. today (April 17, 1979) in Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Caudill-King Funeral Home, Charleston, where friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in Mound Cemetery, Charleston.
He was born March 17, 1924, in Martinsville, a son of William and Elva Miller Phillips. He married Ann Morris Oct. 24, 1948, in Paris. She survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Michael (Kay) House of Hindsboro and Miss Ronda Phillips, Charleston; two sons, Thomas of Charleston and Timothy of Carlinville; three sisters, Mrs. Robert (Thelma) Stewart of Charleston and Mrs. Marvin (Lola) Wright and Mrs. L. J. (Dorothy) Beachey, both of Decatur, and two grandchildren.
