Mrs. Mabel D. Dyess, 79, of 1427 Bonita, died at 10:30 a.m. yesterday in a local nursing home following a long illness.
A native of Wakefield, Kansas, she had lived here 25 years.
Survivors are a daugher, Miss Helen Dyess of Corpus Christi, one brother, W[illiam] E[dward] Doherty, and one sister, Mrs. Ruth Wales, both of Jacksonville, Texas.
