Nelda Heidi (Gerber) DeMain passed away peacefully on May 14, 2017. She was born on March 29, 1931 in Montpelier, Idaho, to Margaret Schlunegger and Christian Gerber. She grew up in Idaho and moved to the Ogden area after high school.

She married Clarence DeMain. They had two children and then later divorced.

She was a member of the LDS Church and served in many callings, including three missions. She had various jobs and loved the outdoors, small animals, and chocolate. She had a deep sense of pride for her family.

She is preceded in death by her parents and eight siblings.

Nelda is survived by her two sons; David (RaeAnn) DeMain and Corey (Colleen Farrell) DeMain; six grandchildren; Shandi, Connor, Wyanne, and Landon DeMain, Buck (Shari) and John (Megan) Walker; three great-grandchildren; Abigail, Henry, and Stetson; and her sisters; Ruth, Edna, and Lillian.
