A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 10, at Lakewood Mobile Home Park in Eugene for Lola Mae Beeson Nugent of Eugene, who died Jan. 22 of age-related causes at age 96.
She was born Jan. 22, 1911, in Springfield to Orba and Emma Rowe Sales. She married Lester Beeson in 1944 in Vancouver, Wash., and he died in 1972. She married Charles Nugent in Eugene in 1981. He died in 1985.
Nugent was a cosmetologist and instructor. She owned beauty shops in San Francisco and Eugene and co-owned beauty colleges in Eugene and Springfield.
She is survived by two nephews.
