SALES - Mrs. Emma Lelia Sales, age 65, resident of Springfield and Lane County for the past 35 years, died at her home Thursday, April 10, 1947. Emma Lelia Rowe was born in Yuba County, California, February 10, 1892. Came to oregon in 1900 and in 1902 married Orba Roy Sales in Eugene. member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church. Survived by her husband, Orba Sales; two sons, Orley M. Sales of San Luis Obispo, Calif., Alvin L. Sales of Springfield; a daughter, Mrs. Lola Beeson of Eugene; three grandchildren; one brother, Ernest Rowe of Roseburg; one sister, Mrs. Lillian Keith of Gardiner, Ore. Funeral services will be held at the Bartholomew-Buell Chapel in Springfield Saturday, April 12, at 2 p.m. Rev. O. E. Schnepper will officiate, with interment in the I. O. O. F. No. 1. Cemetery.
