Graveside services will be held Wednesday at Black Oak Township Cemetery near Pella. Friends may meet at Van Dyk Duven Funeral Home in Pella at 11 a.m. Wednesday.
Mrs. Tysseling was born near Pella. She had taught in country schools near Pella and in Marion County for several years. She was a homemaker and had worked for several years at an overall factory in Pella.
She wrote poetry, painted with oil and watercolors, enjoyed singing and composing music.
She was a member of Trinity Reformed Church in Pella.
She is survived by two daughters, Pauline Tysseling and Enid Tysseling, both of Pella.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerrit.
