About Post Office Matters.
Seventeen years is quite a long time to serve in one place continuously. Seventeen years is the length of time that Mr. W. H. Hart has served in the Quincy Post Office. But he quits there at the end of this week, having been notified by Mr. Richardson that his services are no longer needed. Mr. Hart's place is taken by Mr. Albert Richardson, James' son. ... We hope that Albert will succeed better with his work than some of the others do; if he does not, his father's tenure there will be short indeed.
