In the 1900 census, Albert and Mary Richardson reside with daughters Mary and Susan at 2531 Maine street in Quincy Illinois.

______

Impressive funeral services for Mrs. Albert A. Richardson were conducted at the family residence, 2101 Jersey street, Tuesday afternoon, by the Reverend Robert V. Meigs, pastor of the Central Baptist church.

The number of friends who attended the services taxed the capacity of the home, and an unusual number of beautiful floral offerings gave evidence of the high esteem in which the deceased was held, and the sincere sorrow caused by her death.

Judge and Mrs. J. Frank Garner sang hymns Mrs. Richardson loved best. "Abide With Me," "Beulah Land," and "Safe in the Arms of Jesus." Favorite passages of the scripture were read by the minister, from her well-worn Bible given to her by her daughter, Susan, some years ago.

Taking his text from Psalms 27:4, Mr. Meigs had for the subject of his address, "A Beautiful Soul," which he said the deceased exemplified in an unusually high degree. The address was divided under four headings: beauty of holiness, beauty of worship, beauty of service, and beauty of victory, an eloquent tribute to the life and work of the departed.

The pall bearers were: George Simonson, W. J. Singleton, H. M. Dirks, A. H. Stork, Frank Bird, and Harry Clark. In a bower of flowers, the mortal body was laid at rest in the family burial plot at Woodland cemetery.
