A Soule family history book states that Anna Durfee married "Henry" M. Brown, and that their son Horace Brown drowned in the Columbia river. The dates given match the dates in her cemetery record.
The same book, as well as LDS records, states that Anna Durfee was born to James Durfee and Cynthia Soule. The pair married 6 February 1901 in Broadalbin New York. James Durfee, the book states, is buried in Nauvoo Illinois, with his widow remarrying and moving to Nebraska.
