Lima Louise Curtis Olsen was born Thursday, July 1, 1897 at home in Moroni, Utah to Jacob Lehi Curtis and Jensena "Sena" Simonsen. Lima was a twin. Her brother, Lyman Lehi Curtis, died in 1898.
She married Peter Aaron Olsen of Ephraim, Utah on March 26, 1917 in the Manti LDS Temple. He passed away on February 10, 1976. They had two children, Glen Aaron Olsen and George Lehi Olsen.
In 1918, she moved to the Salt Lake Valley, where she lived for nearly seventy-one years. From 1918 until her death, she resided at 2985 South 8950 West in Magna.
Lima retired as a packaging foreman at Tooele Army Depot.
Lima was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and was active in auxiliaries.
Lima was also a very dedicated genealogist and was considered the family genealogist and served in that position until her death.
Lima passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 3, 1988 at her home of causes incident to age.
Funeral services were held on Monday, November 7, 1988 at 12:00 p.m. in the Pleasant Green First Ward Chapel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints located at 8741 West 3000 South in Magna. Calling hours were held on Sunday, November 6, 1988 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the Peel Funeral Home located at 8525 West 2700 South in Magna, and also one hour prior to the services at the church.
Lima was laid to rest following the conclusion of the funeral services at Valley View Memorial Park in West Valley City.
