Tribute Paid To Memory Of Mrs. Brende
Funeral services for Mrs. A. O. Brende, beloved Havre matron, were held Monday afternoon at the First Lutheran church with Rev. Olaf Anderson, pastor, officiating.
Rev. Anderson spoke of Mrs. Brende as a "Gift from God" to her family adding that she served increasingly and knew of no greater pleasure than that of serving her family and the Lord and that she leaves her family as a living monument to her life and labors. He mentioned her life in the community as have left a "sweet incense which will perfume our living for God."
