Anton Brende Rites Set
Anton O. Brende, 81, former resident of Havre who made his home in recent years in Spokane, passed away on Sunday at Pend Orielle, Oregon. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Wed., Aug. 30, at the Holland and Bonine Funeral Home in Havre.
Mr. Brende was born March 22, 1886, in Norway. He was in business in Big Sandy before entering the implement business in Havre. Retiring in 1953, he moved to Spokane in 1956.
He is survived by two sons, Alvin of Las Vegas, and Otis of Spokane, and seven grandchildren. His wife passed away in March of 1944.
Mr. Brende was a member of the Havre Lodge No. 55 AF and AM, and the Lutheran church.
