He is also survived by his two sons, Jerry (Debbie) Mattingly,, and Steven (Debbie) Mattingly, two daughters, Julie Mitchell and Melissa (Mike) Mugler, eight grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and a brother, Arthur (Marcie) Mattingly.
He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and one sister.
He was employed by Sheet Metal Workers Local 1 for 50 years. Paul had a great sense of humor all the way up to the end. He was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan; loved gardening; his dog, Dolly; being with his family; and spending time with his grandchildren. He was a kind and giving man who will be sadly missed by his family and friends.
