BLOOMINGTON - Howard "Joe" Mattingly, 63, of R.R. 1, Stanford, formerly of 702 Indianapolis St., Bloomington, and 1008 Hovey Ave., Normal, died at 12:05 A.M. Thursday (Feb. 14, 2002) at BroMenn Regional Medical Center, Normal. His funeral will be at 11 A.M. Saturday at Beck Memorial Home, Bloomington, the Rev. Dale Miller officiating. Burial will be in Park Hill Cemetery, Bloomington. Visitation will be for one hour before the service Saturday at the memorial home. Memorials may be made to McLean
County Humane Society or the Baby Fold. Mr. Mattingly was born July 30, 1938, in Payneville, Ky., a son of Marshall Eugene and Portia E. Flatt Mattingly. Survivors include two brothers, Paul (Ruth) Mattingly, Stanford, and Arthur (Marcella) Mattingly, Bloomington. His parents, three brothers and one sister preceded him in death.
