NEWPORT NEWS - Anne Davis "Stoney" Kellum, 52, died Monday, November 14, 2016 in Richmond from complications of Lupus. She was born May 5, 1964 in Newport News, graduated from York High School in 1982 and Virginia Commonwealth University in 1986. Anne became an EMT while still in college and remained in the medical field in several capacities for the rest of her life. At MCV, she worked in the Department Rheumatology, Allergy and Immunology under Dr. Shaun Ruddy and Dr. Lawrence Schwarz for several years.

Anne then served in the office of the Virginia Attorney General as an agent investigating Medicare fraud. She was working for the Magellan Health Company in a similar capacity at the time of her death. Anne was active in the state and local Republican affairs. She was a member of The Woman's Club (Richmond), the Daughters of the American Revolution and the award-winning Proclamation Stew Crew where she became the first female Stew Master in Southside. Anne was known far and wide for her beauty and kindness.

She was preceded in death by her father, Andrew J. Davis, Jr. and sister, Catherine Hart Davis. She is survived by her mother Emma-Jo "Jody" Davis and her sister, Kelsie Lee Davis both of Williamsburg, and her adored and loving children, Andrew Thomas McCrea, Randall Scott Denny and Josephine Adelea Denny.

The family will receive friends 2:00 to 4:00 pm on Sunday, November 20 at Bliley's Central, 3801 Augusta Ave., Richmond, Va 23230. A funeral service will be held 12, Noon, Monday, November 21, at All Saints Episcopal Church, 8787 River Road, Richmond, Va 23229. Interment will be private in Hollywood Cemetery.
