I have been searching my family history for more than 10 years. What an amazing journey. There is nothing more rewarding than looking at the pieces and finally being able to fit them together. That's why I try to provide a plot photo in addition to the individual headstones. If you click on the plot photo, it enlarges and also provides a caption that describes who each stone belongs to.
My favorite cemetery is St. Michael's in Pensacola. The history surrounding the city and specifically the cemetery is fascinating.
On a more personal note, my husband likes to travel, so when he wants to convince me to go on a trip with him, his lead-in is usually, "I'll bet there's some cool cemeteries there." And, so far, there have been.
