Mrs. Mary Jordan Beverly, 90, died Tuesday morning (September 30, 2014) at Baptist Village Retirement Communities after an extended illness.
She was a native and resident of Ware County where she was a member of Hebardville Baptist Church. She was formerly employed by Rosedale Florist in Charleston, SC as a clerk.
She is the daughter of the late Grover Cleveland "G.C." Jordan and Tina Smith Jordan. She is the wife of the late James Parker Beverly.
Survivors include one son, Donnie M. Beverly (wife Kathy) of Lincoln, NB; two grandchildren, Mary Jeanette Sorenson (husband Shawn) of Eugene, OR, and Jennifer Beverly Bryson (husband Bo) of Lincoln, NB; six great grandchildren, Christopher James Winkle II, Eilam Bryson, Kale Bryson, Logan Sorenson, Fallon Bryson and Isley Bryson; one sister, Ruby Conner Miodonski (husband Bob) of Ormond Beach, FL; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday (October 4, 2014) at Hebardville Baptist Church. Entombment will follow in Greenlawn Mausoleum. The family will receive friends 6 until 8 p.m. Friday at Music Funeral Home.
