Danny, 57, of Oakdale, made his last cast on October 26, 2016. He was born on October 31, 1958 in St. Joseph, Louisiana, to the union of Sherbert and Norma Jordan. He was a unique loving daddy, PawPaw, brother, uncle and friend.

Funeral services for Danny Earl Jordan will be held at 3 p.m., Friday, October 28, 2016 at Allen Parish Funeral Home of Oakdale with Elder Larry Wilson officiating.

Committal services will follow in the Cryer Cemetery in Oakdale under the guidance of Allen Parish Funeral Home, Oakdale.

The family will receive visitors at Allen Parish Funeral Home of Oakdale on Thursday, October 27, 2016, from 6-10 p.m. Visitation will resume Friday morning from 10 a.m. until time of service at 3 p.m.

He is preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, John (Booby) Jordan and Percy Jordan; six sisters, Jenell Lemke, Sherry Rodriguez, Dot Jordan, Fay Richmond, Lana Jordan, and Eva Jordan.

He leaves behind his loving family to continue his legacy with one daughter, Christy Stapleton and her devoted husband Rodney who blessed him with Jordan and Maci; One chosen daughter, Misty Tingle of Pineville that blessed him with Paige and Noah and his first great grandson Jon David; One chosen son, Scotty Jarnagin and his devoted wife, Scarlet, (Per Danny she was his personal medical advisor on call 24/7) who blessed him with Madeline and Allie; One brother, Ricky Jordan and wife, Kathy, who because of Ricky’s selfless donation of bone marrow gave us 14 additional years to make special memories to cherish; One special brother-n-law, Ernest Richmond, who took him under his wing from age 7. One strong, caring and loving niece, Mylette Slaney and her husband, Freck, who blessed him with Snoop Dawg “Lil Luke”; And a host of special friends, nieces and nephews.

Buddies to “haul” him to the Lord’s great landing net: Harold Richmond, Ricky Lee Richmond, Michael Vargas, Chad Johnson, Steve Fontenot, and Jason Cloud. Additional buddies for the hauling: Buckwheat (Jordan), Snoop Dawg (Lil Luke), Noah, and Big Luke
