Funeral services for Eva Angel Jordan will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, September 25, 2007 in the White Oaks Memorial Chapel with the Reverend Tony Robinson officiating. Committal services will follow in the Cryer Cemetery under the direction of White Oaks Funeral Home, Oakdale.

Ms. Jordan, 51 of Oakdale, entered eternal rest on Tuesday, September 18, 2007 in her residence. She was born on July 10, 1956 to the union of Sherbert P. and Norma Bourgeois Jordan in Newellton, La. She was a Baptist by faith, a loving homemaker, a wonderful cook for her family and friends. She also cooked and served for Ronnie's Restaurant for many years, and she was a Clerical Technician employed by Vargus Nursery in Forest Hill for the past few years. She also was a loving mother, sister, aunt, and friend to all.

Her father and mother, Sherbert and Norma Jordan; one brother, John D. "Booby" Jordan and two sisters, Janell Jordan Lemke and Dorothy "Dot" Sue Jordan precede her in death.

She leaves behind her loving family to cherish her memories, one son, Jerrod Kyle Jordan of Oakdale; one granddaughter, Ava Manuel of Oakdale; three brothers, Percy Jordan, Ricky Jordan and Danny Jordan all of Oakdale; two sisters, Sherry Rodriguez, Janice Fay Richmond both of Oakdale; and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews.

Pallbearers honored to serve will be Arlinda Salard, Donna Scott, Vhonda Brooks, Merica Townley, Savannah Beech Kittle, Maria Peter Angelo, and Christy Stapelton.

Friends may call on Monday, September 24, 2007 from 6 p.m. until 10 p.m. and Tuesday, September 25, 2007 from 8 a.m. until time of service at 2 p.m. in the chapel.
