Funeral services for Dorothy "Dot" Sue Jordan will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, September 17, 2007 in the White Oaks Memorial Chapel of Oakdale with the Revs. Darren Miller, Tony Robinson and Chad Longino officiating. Committal services will follow in the Cryer Cemetery under the direction of White Oaks, Oakdale.

Dot, 58, of Oakdale, entered eternal rest on Sunday, September 16, 2007 in the Allen Oaks Nursing and Rehabilitation Center of Oakdale. She was born on February 17, 1949 to the union of Sherbert [Jordan] and Norma Bourgeois in Oakdale. She was a Pentecostal by faith, homemaker, a loving sister, aunt and friend to all.

Her father and mother, Sherbert P. and Norma R. Jordan; one brother, John D. "Booby" Jordan and one sister Janell Jordan Lemke precede her in death.

She leaves behind her loving family to cherish her memories, lifetime companion, Glen Thompson of Oakdale; three brothers, Percy Jordan, Ricky Jordan and Danny Jordan all of Oakdale; three sisters, Sherry Rodriguez, Janice Fay Richmond and Eva Jordan all of Oakdale; and a host nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Pallbearers honored to serve will be Blue Jordan, Erick Jordan, Steven Rodriguez, Fredrick Rodriguez, Howard Lemke, Carlton Johnson, Mike 'Freck' Slaney and Steve Fontenot. Honorary pallbearer will be, Derrick Rodriguez.

Friends may call in the White Oaks Memorial Chapel until time of service, today.
