Bradford Area Resident Dies:
Bradford-Covert L.Shoffner,65 years old retired farmer and Shelby county native,died about 10:30 a.m. today at his R.R.1 Bradford,home following an illness of six month.
A resident of Bradford for the past 12years,Mr.Shoffner was a member of the Bradford Presbyterian Church.He was born May 10,1881.A son of Thomas and Clementine Bates Shoffner,in Pasco and married the former Ethel LaChat in 1917.
His Survivors include his widow and these Children: Mrs. Edith Bretz R.R.1,Bradford;Mrs Betty Levering,Piqua; Junior
Shoffner R.R.2,Covington;Donald of Bradford;Victor,Piqua;Mrs Phyllis Fair,Sidney,and Robert Shoffner and Delores,both at home.
Other survivors include three brothers,Ernest of Jackson Center and Delmar and Fred,both both of Sidney,There also are 12 grandchildren.
Rev.Oscar Stevens Will conduct funeral services at 2 p.m. Thursday at thr Stocker Funeral Home. Bradfodd.Interment will follow at Glen Cemetery,Port Jefferson.Friend will be received at the funeral home after 7 p.m.Wednesday.
