Jackson Center-Services were held today at the Methodist Church for Earnest E, Shoffner, 74, of R.R.1.Jackson Center, retired farmer and former railroad maintenance man. Burial was in Glen Cemetery, Port Jefferson.
Mr. Shoffner died at 4:40 P.M. Saturday Memorial Hospital, Sidney, he had been a Resident of Shelby County home for the past 90 days.
Born in Shelby County Jan.11,1890, he was the son of Mr and Mrs Thomas Shoffner, Survivors are a son Irvan of R.R.1, Jackson Center and two brothers, Delmar Schaffner of Sidney and Fred Shoffner of R.R.6, Sidney.
One son, a brother, a sister and half-brother are deceased. Rev. James Rice was in Charge of the services.
