Anne was the second child of Anders Jensen Stageberg and Anna Olsdatter. By Norwegian naming practices she would be Anne Andersdatter Stageberg. The family lived in Ovre Stjordal, Norway and attended the Hegra church where I have found the family records.The rest of the family emigrated to America. Her brother,Ole,came over in 1874. Her father,Anders Stageberg(his name would become Andrew Berg in America)came over in 1875. Her mother, Anne (Anna Berg) and the rest of the children, Johan(John),Gunder,Anne Christine,and Sigrid(Sarah)came over in 1876. Her youngest brother,Mikkel(Mike Berg)was born in Faribault County, Minnesota. Mike was the only child born in America. Anne died at the age of 3 3/4 years. I do not know what of.
