Brooks - Thomas Jasper Brooks died at his home five and a half miles east of Winfield on the Tisdale Road, Wednesday morning at 7:20 O'clock. Mr Brooks was stricken with apoplexy about noon Tuesday and sank rapidly until death. He was 58 years old on July 14. He leaves a wife and ten children all at home, with the exception of one son who is in Montana. The funeral arrangement will not be announced until word is received from the son.
Thomas Jasper Brooks was born July 15, 1861 in Olympus, Overton County, Tennessee, USA and died August 27, 1919 outside of Winfield and Tisdale area, Cowley County, Kansas, USA.
