Wife of Robert Ford, married September 25, 1805, in Henry Co, Kentucky.

Jane's parents are Robert Terrell and Zeno Pope

Robert Terrell accompanied Warner Ford on a expedition into the Illinois Territory with George Rogers Clark in 1782.

Jane's sister Elizabeth married Robert's brother, Jarrett.

A book written in 1955 by Rose Ann Howe, Genealogical Chairman of the Chicago Chapter of the DAR, on the "Ford Family of Kentucky and Indiana with sidelines of Underwood, Walker, Terrell, Lee and Hunt" states this about the Terrell line:
"The first that is known of this family goes back to Normandy where Ralf, Sire de Tyrol de Poix and de Guermanville, son of Walter I, Count of Vexin and Amiens, lived around 995 A.D. His father was Walerain, Count of the Vexin who died in 965 A.D., his mother was Edelgard, Great Granddaughter of Alfred the Great of England.

Children from this union are:
William, Warner, George Washington, America, Cytha, Robert, Achilles "Killes" and Jacob. (Six died as infants)

Graves are marked with a field stone; unknown location in the cemetery.

There was a clue given in the DAR book written on the Ford and Terrell families as to where her father Robert Terrell is buried.

On Feb 11, 1892 Richard L. Ford wrote in his diary that Gashum L. Ford and Achilles Ford (Son of Robert Ford) went to Smithland in Livingston Co., Kentucky to investigate a tract of 575 Acres that belonged to their great-grandfather Robert Terrell saying that Robert died on the land and that it had never been legally conveyed. They had no luck finding a title the diary stated.
