Linda Kay Flaugher, age 52, of Climax Springs, MO, died Friday, August 19, 2016, at 1:14 pm in Blessing Hospital.

Linda was born February 10, 1964 in Quincy, Illinois, the daughter of Lawrence E. and Shirley Staff Scheuermann.

She was a 1982 graduate of Payson Seymour High School and attended Columbia College. She loved the outdoors and the water, especially boating, fishing, and skiing. She had a green thumb and was an awesome cook. She also loved to draw and enjoyed art. Most of all, Linda loved spending time with family and friends on Coffman Bend.

Linda attended the Potter’s House Church in Camdenton, MO, the Scarbrough Outdoor Church, and Our Lady of the Snows on Coffman Bend.

Survivors include her daughter, Miranda Flaugher of Kansas City, MO; her partner, Monte B. Davis, Sr. of Climax Springs, MO; her mother, Shirley Scheuermann of Quincy; a sister, Marcia (James) Elliott of Liberty, IL; two brothers, Allen (Kim) Scheuermann of Payson, IL, and Mark (Darlene) Scheuermann of Quincy, and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

Linda was preceded in death by her father.

Services: 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 23, 2016 at Hansen-Spear Funeral Home, with Rev. Larry Connour officiating.

Burial: Quincy Memorial Park, Quincy, Illinois

Visitation: 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. Monday, August 22, 2016 and 9:00 a.m. until the time of service on Tuesday, August 23, 2016 at Hansen-Spear Funeral Home.
