Mary Jane Hargraves McDaniel - second born daughter of William Beverly Hargraves and Nancy Walden; wife of David Cornelius "Neil" McDaniel; mother of eleven children - Delilah Argenia, Margaret Lucretia, Nancy Susan (Starling), Flora Jane (Lloyd), Benjamin Lafayette, Alice Adaline, Rachel Rosetta (Nelson), Appie Charlotta "Lottie", Ollie Lee Ella (DeWayne) , Jennie Mabel and Sydney Cornelius.

OBITUARY

Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Jane McDaniel, 73, widow of D. N. McDaniel, who died yesterday morning at 10 o'clock at the residence in Savannah, after a short illness, will take place this evening at 6 o'clock at the chapel of Fox and Weeks. Rev. T. R. Wynne, pastor of Emanuel Baptist Church, will officiate. After the services the body will be sent at 7:20 o'clock to Waycross, Ga., where she was born on March 27, 1863 for burial.

Survivors include five daughters, Mrs. B. E. DeWayne and Miss Alice McDaniel of Savannah; Mrs. W. J. Lloyd of Jacksonville, Fla.; Mrs. J. R. Starling of Douglas, and Mrs. H. T. Nelson of Waycross; one son, S. C. McDaniel of Savannah; two sisters, Mrs. F. H. Herring of Hildreth, Fla., and Mrs. F. S. Osteen of Orlando, Fla.; three half-sisters, Mrs. Lewis Bennett, of Waycross; Mrs. John T. Morgan of Jacksonville and Mrs. Ebenezer O'Berry, Millwood; two half-brothers, W. B. Hargraves, Okeechobee, Fla., and M. L. Hargraves, Birmingham, Ala.

The body will be brought to the Ulmer Funeral Home at 10 o'clock tonight where it will remain until 10 o'clock Tuesday morning. Funeral services will be held at Hargraves Cemetery at Millwood.

Ulmer Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Headstone is in the McDaniel Family plot with husband D.N. McDaniel and children B.L., Lottie and Jennie.
