Ray in Phoebe Richland Health Care Center. He was the husband of Eleanore (Conrad) Campbell. They celebrated 61 years of marriage last November. Born in Quakertown he was the son of the late Zeno and Eleanor (Agar) Campbell. He was a retired carpenter retiring from Carpenter Union #1073. He was U.S. Navy veteran of both WWII and the Korean War. He was a member of the Quakertown American Legion Post #242 where he also served as a former Vice Commander. Ray enjoyed fishing and hunting and was a member of the Paletown Rod & Gun Club. He also enjoyed vacationing and surf fishing at Chincoteague, VA. He was also a former member of the West End Fire Co. in Quakertown. As described by his family, he was a “Gadget Guy” especially pertaining to solar energy. In addition to his wife he is survived by four children, Lori J. Campbell of New Castle, DE, Scott R. Campbell wife Judy of Dublin, PA, Karen M. Campbell and Partner Kim Erickson of Spokane, WA, and Kathy S. Maitz of Coopersburg, PA. Four grandchildren Hannah Campbell, Olivia Campbell, Ava Maitz and Jake Maitz. A sister Marjorie Kooker of Telford, PA. He was predeceased by a brother Forrest Campbell and a sister Ethel Bleam.
