Bio

Born in Brooklyn, NY, I have lived in Long Island, NY(Brookhaven, Yaphank & East Moriches); Connecticut near Hartford; New Jersey (Allenwood, Herbertsville, West Point Pleasant, Point Pleasant Beach and Brick). I have resided in Warminster, Bucks County, Pennsylvania, just north of Philadelphia since 1966. I'm active with AARP's Chapters, Driver Safety Program and Volunteer Development.
Retired from IBM in 1991 after 32 years as a Service Technician and Instructor. Retired from NJ Army National Guard in 1997 after 43 years as a traditional Guardsman (M-Day). I still serve with the NG Military Museum of NJ, Sea Girt, NJ, and the Military Funeral Honor Guard programs in NJ and PA.
Interested in taking better care of our Veteran Gravesites - everywhere. Let's work toward getting all our veterans located and documented on line. (Check out the FindAGrave site of Preston Wallace, Beverly National Cemetery, NJ - Memorial# 5650925)
-
County Keeper for Bucks County, PA.
Working on Monmouth and Ocean Counties, NJ, also.
Researching Family Genealogy for the following names: Rauanheimo, Järnefelt, Wrangen, Millbrooke, Wallace, Borrelli, Wrangen, Montana, Elliot, Bird, McMahon, O'Hagan;
and some Non-Family names: Heinze, Shoemaker

- A SEPARATE PROJECT:
The Veterans Interment Record Project in NJ is an effort to build an index of all veterans interred in New Jersey.

Any help would be appreciated.

As many others do, I post information shown on Memorial markers for many reasons and from public obituaries. My personal notes are only added to my family members. I will transfer upon request.
I welcome photo requests when the location is included. You should ask the cemetery office for that information. Many cemetery offices will only honor requests from family (and usually not for numerous names.)
Thanks for your notes. I appreciate them and only delete them to keep open requests where I can see them. Thanks again, RayR.
