Mrs. Edwin Ellis
Monroe, Wisc., Nov. 24- Mrs. Edwin Ellis, 76, of Monroe died suddenly at her home yesterday afternoon. Cause of death was apparently a heart attack.
The former Anna Mary Brazle*(*spelled different than tombstone) was born in Adams township on June 4, 1875, the daugher of John and Bridget Flannery Brazle. She was married to Edwin Ellis in Monroe on Sept. 28, 1898.
The couple farmed in Jordan township until moving to Monroe 12 years ago.
Surviving are her husband; a brother, Robert, of Adams township; four sisters, Mrs. Marble Stephens, and Mrs. Clay Stephens and Mrs. Ed Gavigan of Argyle and Mrs. N. C. Styger of Valentine, Mont., and a niece, Mrs. John Meichtry of Blanchardville, who formerly made her home with the Ellis family.
Services will be at 1:30 Tuesday at the Shriner-Neuschwander funeral home. Rev. Lawrence A. Brown of Bethel Evangelical United Brethern Church will officiate with burial in Greenwood Cemetery.
