Mrs. Emily Imus Holcomb passed away at her home in Deber, Lassen county, March 21, of general debility and old age. She was the oldest of the Imus family, was born July 30, 1830 and was therefore at the time of her death 84 years, 8 months and 20 days old.
She leaves four sons and two daughters to mourn her loss, two of her sons passed away some years since.
Ms. Holcomb was a member of the Baptist Church and died sustained by the Christian faith.
Her three sisters, Mrs. J. E. Redmond, Mrs. G. Q. Russell and Mrs. U. Sloan, are living here, and sorrow for the passing of one so near and dear.
