Alma Jean Rogers DeBell, age 81, of Erlanger formerly of Piner went to be with the Lord Tuesday, July 23, 2013 from St. Elizabeth Hospice of Edgewood. She was a teacher at Kenton Elementary and Piner Elementary and was a member of Piner Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents Amos and Sarah (Kays) Rogers; sisters Virginia Camack and Hazel Rogers; brothers Robert, Earl, Glenn, James, Roy, Joel, and Connie Rogers; and grandson Nick Adkins.

Survivors include her husband of 56 years Dr. Richard Arlen DeBell of Erlanger; daughters Laurie (Jerry) Adkins of Florence and Richelle (Keith) Barding of Kingston, TN; sister Sue Perry of Dallas, TX; grandchildren Thomas Adkins and Emily (Seth) Robinson; niece Theresa Rogers and many other nieces nephews, relatives and friends whom she loved dearly.

Services were held at Piner Baptist Church Saturday, July 27, 2013. Interment was at Wilmington Cemetery of DeMossville, KY. Memorials are suggested to St. Elizabeth Hospice, 1 Medical Village Drive, Suite 213, Edgewood, KY 41017 or Piner Baptist Church 15044 Madison Pike, Piner, KY 41063.
