Georgia Annette (Shoner) Pirtle, 68, Bicknell, passed away Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at Good Samaritan Hospital.

Georgia was born May 18, 1947, in Tiffin, OH, the daughter of George Eugene and Alma Mamie (Eckrote) Shoner. She married John W. Pirtle on December 3, 1963. She devoted her life caring for her family. She loved sewing and embroidering for others and was known for her love and laughter. She was a seamstress at Illusions and a former aerobics instructor. Georgia was a member of the Mariah Creek Christian Church.
Georgia is survived by her husband, John; daughters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren,
and sister.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Stan Pirtle; and two brothers.
The family will receive friends on Friday, March 11, 2016 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Mariah Creek Christian Church. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2016 at 11:00 AM also at the church with Pastor Matt Hoffman officiating. She will be laid to rest at Woodward Cemetery in Duggar. Memorial contributions may be made to the Mariah Creek Christian Church. Arrangements were entrusted to Fredrick and Son McClure-Utt Funeral Home Bicknell Chapel.
