Survivors include his wife, Amanda Pirtle; one daughter, Kayla Pirtle; his parents, Bicknell; one brother, Lonnie Pirtle, Freelandville; two sisters, Barbara Lee Malone, Edwardsport, and Jennie Pirtle, Madisonville, Ky.; and other relatives.
Funeral services are at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Newkirk Funeral Home with Brother Don Demus officiating. Burial is in Woodward Cemetery, near Dugger. Friends may call after 5 p.m. Tuesday.
