Henry Mayer, 59, a millwright at the Stockton Box Co. for 37 years, died yesterday in his home at 2312 E. Stadium. A 40-year resident of the Stockton area, Mr. Mayer is survived by his wife, Marie; a daughter, Mrs. Lois Marie Asher of Stockton; five sisters, Mrs. Hilda Ratliff of Turlock, Mrs. Dollie Collins of Rio Vista, and Mrs. Emma Benechitti, Mrs. Annette Acker, and Mrs. Martha Wentzell, all of Lodi; and two brothers, William, of Stockton, and Julius, of Folsom. Mr. Mayer, born in Nebraska, was a member of the Boxmakers Local Union.
