Services held for Mrs. Gladys Temple Crowe, age 97, of Crockett and formerly of Temple was held at the Callaway-Allee Funeral Home in Crockett
Gladys was the daughter of William James and Margaret Wilson Temple. As a child she moved to Temple and attended Temple schools. She married Beecher Smith, who preceded her in death. Together they had one child, who died at 18 months old. She was the manager and buyer for Hendlers Ladies Ready-To-Wear Department Store in Temple for many years.
She married Audley Crowe, and they moved back to Crockett. He preceded her in death on Dec 21, 1982. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, and is survived by a sister, Mrs. Jerry (Elizabeth) Matl of Temple.
